Senior Cytogenetics Technologist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Cytogenetics Analyst to join their team remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform analysis of chromosomes, including imaging and karyotyping of cytogenetic specimens
• Summarize test results utilizing ISCN nomenclature and report accurate results for patient care
• Evaluate troubleshooting and document corrective actions while complying with company policies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
• 4 years or more of clinical laboratory testing experience
• Certified by the National Credentialing Agency (NCA) in Cytogenetics (CLSp-CG) or ASCP Certification in Cytogenetics (ASCP CG)
• Experience with cytogenetic analysis of metaphase spreads via computerized images
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
