Senior Data Analyst

Job Summary

To support a high-visibility modernization effort, the contract Senior Data Analyst will perform complex data migration activities, including data profiling, validation of transformation logic, and ensuring data accuracy and compliance, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed data analysis and profiling of legacy data sources to support migration execution
• Validate data mapping documents to ensure alignment with defined migration rules and business requirements
• Analyze data quality reports and collaborate with technical teams to address data migration discrepancies

Required qualifications

• 5 years of experience with a BS/BA degree; 3 years with an MS/MA degree; or 0 years with a PhD
• Demonstrated experience in large-scale data migration or modernization programs
• Strong skills in data profiling and validation of ETL or data transformation specifications
• Proficiency with SQL and experience with relational databases and structured/unstructured datasets
• Ability to document data lineage and analytical findings in clear and accurate formats
