Senior Data Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

To support critical data needs in the FinTech sector, the remote Senior Data Analytics Engineer will independently lead technical projects, develop foundational data models, and collaborate with business stakeholders to drive cross-border remittances forward.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage technical projects from conception to deployment, ensuring high-quality data solutions
• Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to translate commercial objectives into technical projects
• Utilize Python and SQL for advanced data analytics, automated scripting, and financial data reconciliation

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in analytics engineering or data engineering, particularly in the financial services or FinTech industry
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language, such as Python
• Hands-on experience with data warehouse technologies, specifically Databricks
• Experience with financial reconciliation tools like AutoRek or ReconArt
• Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
