Senior Data Architect
Job Summary
To support the ministry's mission, the full-time Senior Data Architect will lead enterprise data architecture, design scalable data solutions, and drive automation and governance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the technical direction and standards for enterprise data pipelines, architecture, and governance
- Design and govern scalable end-to-end data solutions, including pipelines, models, and cloud data warehouses
- Establish data governance standards for access, security, quality, and privacy across the data ecosystem
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5-10 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or senior data platform roles
- Strong expertise in designing enterprise-scale data solutions using technologies like Snowflake, SQL, and Python
- Experience with modern data integration methods, including REST/GraphQL APIs and Azure services
- Proven ability to establish data governance practices and mentor technical teams
