Senior Data Architect

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Data Architect will lead complex legacy data migrations, design cloud-native data pipelines, and architect production-ready data analytics repositories while contributing to the program's data architecture strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end legacy data migrations, including schema mapping and validation processes
• Design and maintain data pipelines using event-driven infrastructure to support BI and analytics workflows
• Drive data governance initiatives, ensuring documentation and standardization across programs

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant data architecture experience and a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
• Proven experience in leading large-scale legacy data migrations and understanding migration risks
• Deep expertise with relational and non-relational databases
• Hands-on experience with event-driven pipeline infrastructure and knowledge of AWS and Azure/M365 environments
• Strong understanding of data governance principles and documentation standards
