Senior Data Architect

Job Summary

To support a dynamic data management practice, the full-time remote Senior Data Architect will design and implement data systems, manage data integration processes, and provide ongoing support for database environments using advanced technologies like Microsoft Fabric and Databricks.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build comprehensive data systems, including data warehouses and lakehouses
• Integrate data platforms with applications through APIs and event-driven patterns
• Provide ongoing support and management for database, data lake, and reporting environments

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of IT experience, with a focus on data architecture and management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric and/or Databricks, with hands-on experience in data modeling and warehousing
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture concepts, including security and scalability
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies or IT consulting
