Senior Data Architect

Job Summary

Working remotely with occasional onsite support in Washington, DC, the full-time Senior Data Architect will collaborate with the Chief Enterprise Architect and Solution Architect to define the enterprise architecture for a new federal program, focusing on data strategy, governance, and standards for a microservices environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design the foundational enterprise data strategy and governance plan
• Define data standards and patterns for a microservices, database-per-service architecture
• Produce data architecture artifacts for development teams to utilize in the program

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of data architecture or enterprise data management experience
• Experience designing enterprise data models for large, multi-system organizations
• Familiarity with microservice data patterns, including database-per-service designs
• Comfort with Big Data, ETL and ELT pipelines, data warehousing, and analytics systems
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability determination
