Job Summary

To lead enterprise data strategy and architecture initiatives, the remote contract Senior Data Architect will define the data architecture roadmap, design scalable cloud-based solutions, and mentor technical teams while working during Mountain Time hours.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the enterprise data architecture roadmap
• Design scalable cloud-based data solutions, preferably in Azure
• Lead data modeling, integration, and governance initiatives while partnering with cross-functional teams

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Enterprise Analytics
• Expertise in enterprise-scale cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Strong background in data modeling, ETL/ELT, and data warehouses/lakehouse architectures
• Experience with tools like Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and Databricks
• Proven success in leading cross-functional initiatives and driving data strategy
