Senior Data Architect
Job Summary
To support data modeling and integration efforts within a government technology environment, the fully remote Senior Data Architect will analyze legacy systems, develop common data models, and collaborate with technical teams to ensure data quality and effective implementation of solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze legacy systems and authoritative data sources to understand existing data structures and relationships
- Develop and document conceptual, logical, and physical data models, including source-to-target mappings and data lineage
- Support data integration, ETL/ELT, and migration activities within SQL and Azure environments, ensuring data quality and validation
Required qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Architecture, Software Engineering, or a related technical field preferred
- 10 or more years of experience in database architecture, data modeling, or systems integration
- At least 5 years of experience in a data architect or technical lead role within a complex enterprise environment
- Advanced experience with Microsoft SQL Server and relational database design
- Experience with Azure data and integration services, APIs, or comparable enterprise integration platforms
