Senior Data Automation Engineer
Job Summary
To advance Property Claims' cloud-first data initiatives, the fully remote Senior Data Automation Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure and automation solutions across Microsoft Fabric, Azure, AWS, and on-premises Linux environments, enabling real-time decision-making and operational reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Design, provision, and maintain Azure resources, including ADLS Gen2 and Event Hub, while developing Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform
- Support Linux-based environments and develop Python-based ETL processes, managing data pipeline orchestration with Airflow
- Deliver real-time insights and automated reporting capabilities, contributing to data platform modernization and vendor integrations
Required qualifications
- Strong Python skills, particularly in data engineering and automation
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases, including query development and data modeling
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services such as Event Hub and ADLS storage
- Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and ETL/ELT pipeline design
