Senior Data Center Operations Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Center Operations Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage MVS zSeries and VM/VSE environments to ensure production processing meets service levels
• Document incidents and escalate events impacting service levels as necessary
• Ensure system maintenance, backups, and operational changes are performed and documented according to procedures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of related experience or an advanced degree without experience
• 8+ years of experience in IT and system monitoring
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Knowledge of mainframe tools (TSO, SDSF, TMS, QuickRef) and server scripts
• Ability to represent the company professionally to clients
