Senior Data Center Operator

Job Summary

To support operational excellence in data center environments, the full-time Senior Data Center Operator will manage documentation, process engineering, and technical support across multiple data centers while driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical author and process engineer, creating and maintaining operational procedures, standards, and documentation
• Analyze existing workflows to identify gaps and inefficiencies, and design new operational processes for improved scalability and efficiency
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging operational data and stakeholder feedback to refine procedures and workflows

Required Qualifications

• 6 to 10+ years of experience in data center operations, technical support, or engineering
• Working knowledge of power, cooling, structured cabling, and network architecture
• Hands-on experience with enterprise server, storage, and networking technologies, especially Linux/Unix
• Demonstrated ability to create clear and actionable technical documentation and operational procedures
• Experience applying continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma in operational processes
