Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to extract, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to improve healthcare quality, affordability, and equity.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee development and maintenance of data pipelines, ETL processes, and workflows for data collection and transformation
• Analyze healthcare claims data to identify patterns, trends, and insights, and generate reports and visualizations for stakeholders
• Lead cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective data solutions and improve data infrastructure

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in healthcare administration, data science, statistics, or equivalent work experience preferred
• 7+ years of experience in SQL
• 7+ years of experience as a data analyst in the healthcare industry, preferably in claims
• Expertise in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, R, and Tableau or Power BI
• Intermediate to expert level experience with data modeling and cloud-based data solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
