Job Summary

Building modern, scalable data platforms, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will prepare and configure Microsoft Fabric for integration with Cogito Cloud, design and deploy data pipelines, and mentor junior engineers while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and configure Microsoft Fabric to support integration with Cogito Cloud
Design, build, and deploy scalable data pipelines and transformations within Fabric
Implement robust ETL/ELT processes and support data validation and governance

Required qualifications

5+ years of experience in data engineering or data platform development
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse architecture and Data Factory pipelines
Advanced proficiency in SQL and strong experience with Python and/or PySpark
Experience building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
