Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to contribute to the evolution of their data platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build new batch and streaming data pipelines for analytics and product features
• Serve as a technical expert, mentoring engineers and driving architectural best practices
• Ensure robust monitoring and reliability of data systems to proactively identify issues

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with streaming and messaging systems like Beam, Flink, or Kafka
• 5+ years of experience with managing enterprise-grade cloud data warehouses
• Expert in SQL and Python, with ideally some experience in Java
• Experience mentoring data engineers and contributing to team culture
• Availability for on-call rotation for business-critical alerts
