Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technology Specialist I (Senior Data Engineer).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide consultation to business units and IT management on project development cycles
• Research and evaluate alternative solutions for system design and implementation
• Document, test, implement, and support applications while leading technical consulting efforts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline; Master's degree preferred
• Eight years of IT experience, with at least six years in systems analysis and application program development
• In-depth knowledge of Data Modeling, Data Integrations, APIs, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks
• Proficiency in a back-end programming language such as Python, Scala, Java, or Node.js
• Experience with database systems like Oracle, Postgres, or MySQL
