Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Data Engineer (remote).

Key Responsibilities

Understand business processes and design data structures and workflows to support them
Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and API integrations to manage data volume and complexity
Collaborate with various teams to automate data analysis and ensure compliance with data governance standards

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience with SQL, data modeling, and data processing systems; 2-3 years with Scala
Strong experience with advanced analytics tools and languages such as Python and Java
Experience with SQL, SPARK, BigQuery, and NoSQL databases like Hadoop and MongoDB
Familiarity with Big Data technologies like Hive, Impala, and Spark
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is highly preferable
