Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer (remote).

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain data structures, workflows, and integrations to support business processes
Develop scalable data pipelines and API integrations while ensuring data quality and compliance with regulations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data needs and automate data analysis and visualization

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in SQL, data modeling, and data processing systems, with 2-3 years in Scala
Strong experience with advanced analytics tools and programming languages such as Python and Java
Experience with various databases including SQL, SPARK, BigQuery, and NoSQL databases like Hadoop and MongoDB
Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Hive, Impala, and Spark
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is highly preferable
