Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to develop and implement the strategic vision for their Data Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and build platform foundations ensuring scalability, performance, and security
• Collaborate with teams to build pipelines and data models for improved data reliability and interpretability

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• 12+ years of experience in Data Engineering, including 5+ years as a Principal Engineer
• 5+ years of experience with programming languages such as Python or Scala, and a deep understanding of Spark and Databricks
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing data engineering teams
• Expertise with cloud platforms, databases, and modern data stack, including Distributed Data Systems
