Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer (remote).

Key Responsibilities

Understand business processes and design data structures and workflows to meet data needs
Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and API integrations while improving database performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate data analysis and ensure compliance with data governance standards

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience with SQL and data processing systems; 2-3 years with Scala
Strong experience with advanced analytics tools and languages such as Python and Java
Database development experience with SQL, SPARK, or BigQuery, and familiarity with NoSQL databases
Experience in building infrastructure for data extraction, transformation, and loading
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is highly preferable
