Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Big Data Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and support the technical direction of the Real World Evidence (RWE) team, shaping strategy and architecture
• Act as a key stakeholder for RWE data, representing it in customer engagements and executive presentations
• Mentor and support engineers, promoting a culture of engineering excellence and best practices

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering with experience in building scalable data systems and pipelines
• 5+ years working with big data tools like Apache Spark and Hadoop, particularly on AWS EMR
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with software management tools like Git, JIRA, and CircleCI
• Experience in Developer Operations, deploying to AWS EMR and Kubernetes
