Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather business and technical requirements, perform GAP analysis, and design information systems using data transformation techniques
• Lead the development of functional specifications, design models, and system workflows for software applications
• Support and maintain production systems, optimizing performance and resolving issues as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience with 4 years of relevant work experience; or a Master's degree with 2 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in developing ETL jobs to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
• Proficiency in PL/SQL programming for developing stored procedures and functions
• Experience with UNIX shell scripting for process automation
• Familiarity with ETL tools such as Informatica and Python in an agile environment
