Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer (Ruby) to lead the design, development, and scaling of data migration and integration pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement core ETL workflows for ingesting, transforming, and validating healthcare data
• Collaborate with engineering and customer success teams to automate and streamline data processes
• Enhance customer onboarding speed and reduce manual efforts through scalable data solutions

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of engineering experience with strong backend skills in Ruby or a similar language
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
• Experience building production-grade, fault-tolerant ETL pipelines at scale
• Ability to transform inconsistent data into clean, performant systems
• Familiarity with healthcare data, EHR systems, or HIPAA compliance is a plus
