Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their innovative team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build production-grade FastAPI services for data validation and enrichment
• Create and maintain asynchronous event-driven pipelines using Apache Kafka
• Develop and implement data pipelines and ETL processes for data ingestion and transformation

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in backend-focused data engineering or platform development
• Strong proficiency in Python, with experience using FastAPI and asynchronous programming
• Deep understanding of event-driven architectures and experience with Kafka
• Experience designing and deploying containerized services with Docker
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with modern cloud data warehouses, preferably Amazon Redshift
