Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Data Engineer to optimize and expand its data architecture for business intelligence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, construct, test, and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture for the business intelligence ecosystem
• Assemble large, complex data sets into functional business schemas for use by analysts and developers
• Identify and implement internal data process improvements to enhance scalability and efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with expertise in SQL, BigQuery, and GCP
• Strong experience with Apache Iceberg, Starburst, and Trino for large-scale data processing
• Proven track record of designing and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud-based data workflows
