Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to drive the design and implementation of data platforms and analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of legal data engineering projects, including scoping, architecture, development, and stakeholder management
• Architect and implement scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks
• Collaborate with legal operations, finance, and knowledge management teams to align data solutions with business goals

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years in a law firm or legal services environment
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and Power BI
• Proven experience leading data projects and managing stakeholder expectations
• Expertise in SQL Server, SSIS, T-SQL, and data warehousing
• Familiarity with legal data systems such as time and billing, matter management, and DMS
