Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer - Data Platform & Databricks Expert (Remote).

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as Databricks Subject Matter Expert (SME) and lead the adoption and optimization of the platform
• Architect, build, and optimize big data solutions using Databricks and other modern data platforms
• Drive data strategy and governance, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with industry standards

Required Qualifications:

• At least 7 years of experience in data engineering, with a minimum of 3 years in Databricks solutions
• Expert-level proficiency in Databricks, including Delta Lake and Unity Catalog
• Experience in implementing and optimizing ETL/ELT on platforms like Azure SQL, Synapse, and Snowflake
• Strong programming skills in Python and PySpark, with experience in developing data processing applications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
