Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to provide complex technical support to data processing systems and enhance related software and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Leads efforts to evaluate and improve Data Engineering systems, processes, and applications
• Collects and analyzes data related to business requests, ensuring accuracy in specifications and implementation plans
• Provides technical support to production systems, addressing issues and ensuring functionality for end users

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance
• Preferred experience in Data Lake, Data Platforms, Data Warehousing, and SQL
• Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing principles
• Excellent programming experience in Python
• Experience with data technology and delivery across multiple platforms
