Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to build essential data infrastructure and empower fellow engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement ETL pipelines using Apache Airflow, Big Query, Python, and Spark
• Provide technical guidance to other engineers and advocate for data engineering best practices
• Identify areas for improvement in existing data pipelines and processes

Required Qualifications

• Strong SQL experience
• Expert in at least one data pipelining orchestration framework (e.g., Airflow)
• Experience building and optimizing data warehouses on cloud platforms
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related technical field
• At least 4 years of software engineering experience, ideally in data engineering
