Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to lead engineering efforts and mentor junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to engineering sprints and maintain infrastructure and data pipelines
• Transform datasets for usability and build data products for member organizations
• Mentor junior engineers and support members in understanding systems and new data engineering approaches

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant data engineering experience
• Deep familiarity with Python and SQL, and comfort with GCP or other cloud platforms
• 1+ years of demonstrated leadership with technical teams or projects
• Dedication to the organization's mission and impact
• Experience with common open source software packages for ETL/ELT is preferred but not required
