Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their team in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production data pipelines, ensuring data quality and rapid incident resolution
• Design and optimize batch and streaming pipelines using Airflow and manage data in a Redshift-based warehouse
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support reporting and analytics while championing best practices in data engineering

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data pipeline and warehouse design and operation
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and advanced SQL
• Experience with Airflow, Apache Spark, and AWS services including Redshift and Glue
• Strong understanding of data modeling and performance tuning in large-scale environments
