Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to build and enhance its data platform and drive key data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a scalable and reliable data platform using technologies like Kinesis, Kafka, and Spark
• Participate in architecture discussions and own the design, development, and launching of new data products
• Drive data quality and reliability across all product verticals and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field
• 6+ years of industry experience in software development and large-scale data infrastructure
• Hands-on knowledge of modern cloud-based data technologies such as Spark, Kinesis, and Snowflake
• Development experience in at least one object-oriented language like Java or Python
• Experience working in a remote environment is preferred
