Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Data Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain software and data pipelines across backend and data orchestration systems
• Design and build data architecture balancing interpretability with cost
• Create and maintain foundational datasets to support analytics and business needs

Required Qualifications

• Strong background in data and software engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, etc.) and SQL
• Familiarity with rETL tools (e.g., Hightouch, Census, Rudderstack)
• Experience with modern data storage technologies (e.g., BigQuery SQL, Airflow, DBT)
• Experience maintaining and improving a large DBT project is a plus
