Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Data Engineer I, Data Infrastructure for a 12-month fixed-term position.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Data Insights Group to understand project goals and desired data products
• Work with the data architect and Data Infrastructure team to assess available data sources and tools
• Develop, test, and refine tools and processes to deliver the SafeInsights container and project deliverables

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering within a production environment
• Experience with Google infrastructure services, particularly GCS & Big Query
• Advanced knowledge of Python and strong SQL skills
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes; experience with Airflow
• Background in applied math, statistics, economics, or a related technical field
