Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer - Financial Transactions & Automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect event-driven pipelines and develop data models to ensure transactional integrity for financial events
• Automate scalable ETL processes and enhance data architectures to meet growing business demands
• Collaborate with teams to codify business processes into reliable self-measuring systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience); Master's preferred
• 5+ years of experience in delivering scalable financial services
• Expertise in building scalable REST APIs with PostgreSQL and proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
• Deep understanding of high-scale distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
