Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to build a modern data processing platform and improve data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and maintain big data platform and infrastructure
Develop and maintain automated ETL processes for large-scale datasets
Troubleshoot Hadoop cluster issues and optimize schemas and queries

Qualifications & Skills

BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related field
5+ years of experience in programming languages such as Java, Scala, and Python
Working knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem applications
Strong experience with SQL and No-SQL databases
Experience with version control systems and continuous build processes
