Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to work on large-scale data pipelines and analytics systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient batch data pipelines and data infrastructures
• Lead and mentor junior Data Engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to define data requirements
• Develop scalable frameworks to automate analytics workflows and manage data operations

Required Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science/Engineering or relevant technical field
• 8+ years of experience in building scalable ETL pipelines with expertise in SQL, PySpark, or Scala
• 3+ years of experience leading data engineering development with business or data science partners
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and ETL orchestration tools
• Familiarity with GDPR compliance and standard GitOps workflows
