Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer who will help build and maintain their data platform and products.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the development and maintenance of the data platform, including the data warehouse/lakehouse and orchestration pipelines
• Design data models for data products that effectively address end user questions
• Identify optimization opportunities for existing data pipelines or products

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering
• Deep expertise with Databricks/Spark, Snowflake, and similar distributed data warehousing tools
• Experience with data orchestration tools such as Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster
• Strong Python and SQL skills
• Ability to handle large data volumes efficiently (50TB+, 500BB+ rows added monthly)
