Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their Engineering team focused on data development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and plan new platform data solutions in collaboration with the product team and internal stakeholders
• Execute and implement high-quality software while assisting in the planning of new software features
• Develop subject matter expertise in the data ecosystem and foster a team culture aligned with company values

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years as a Data Engineer or Senior Data Engineer utilizing Python and SQL, or 5+ years as a Software Engineer in a Python codebase
• Experience with production-level data systems in a collaborative environment
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
• Experience with Apache Airflow for task orchestration and familiarity with Business Intelligence tools like Tableau
• Understanding of development principles such as observability, performance optimization, and cloud infrastructure
