Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Data/Platform Engineer for a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and modernize a new cloud-based data warehouse to replace legacy data systems
• Design, develop, and automate ETL/ELT data pipelines for high-volume marketing engagement data
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define platform architecture and data flow patterns

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or platform engineering
• Strong backend development skills using languages such as Python, Java, or Rust
• Hands-on experience creating and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines and automated data workflows
• Strong cloud experience with AWS or Azure (AWS preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
