Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to enhance its maritime analytics platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and decompose complex database-centric business logic into scalable components
• Design and build event-driven architectures and streaming workflows to replace legacy systems
• Implement and operate production-grade streaming jobs using technologies such as Kafka, Spark, and Flink

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience in data engineering or distributed systems
• Strong experience in designing and operating large-scale data pipelines in production environments
• Hands-on experience with event streaming technologies such as Kafka, Spark, and/or Flink
• Proficiency in Scala and/or Java, along with solid SQL skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
