Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their data team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data management systems and processing pipelines using cloud-native services
• Optimize ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion, transformation, and loading into data warehouses/lakes
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to understand data requirements and mentor junior data engineers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or related roles
• Expert proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Scala, Java)
• Deep expertise with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their data services
• Experience with modern data warehousing solutions and workflow orchestration tools
