Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to support client projects as an independent contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the foundational setup of new data environments, including Snowflake provisioning and system architecture
• Design, build, and manage scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
• Develop and maintain robust DBT data models to support advanced analytics capabilities

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in data engineering with a focus on building pipelines and supporting custom applications
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and other cloud data platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong technical expertise in DBT for data transformation and modeling
• Advanced SQL and Python skills for data modeling and pipeline development
• Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments with a balance of technical and business acumen
