Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to own and evolve their data pipelines and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with various teams to develop data models and pipelines for applications, research, reporting, and machine learning
• Develop, implement, and optimize ETL processes for processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data
• Evaluate and implement diverse data storage solutions and work closely with Platform Engineering on data platform needs

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of full stack or backend development experience
• Expertise in modern ETL technologies and building data pipelines at scale
• Proven experience in optimizing data architectures for performance and cost reduction
• Experience with cloud-based data engineering pipeline design, preferably with AWS and Databricks
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java, as well as SQL
