Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer, working in AWS.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy and execution of migrating large-scale data workloads from GCP to AWS
• Architect and implement scalable batch and streaming data pipelines using Apache Spark and Delta Lake
• Ensure the reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency of production ETL jobs on AWS

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on expertise in Scala and proficiency in Python
• Deep experience with Apache Spark for streaming and batch data processing at scale
• Proven track record running production ETL workloads on AWS (EMR, Glue) with terabyte-scale datasets
• Experience designing data architectures using Delta Lake and the medallion architecture
• 8+ years of data engineering experience with end-to-end ownership of critical infrastructure
