Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ELT/ETL data pipelines to process large volumes of customer events
• Provide technical leadership by defining engineering standards and mentoring junior engineers
• Lead the design of optimized data models in cloud data warehouses to support analytics and machine learning initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering with a focus on large-scale data platforms
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with modern cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake or BigQuery
• Expertise in Python for building and optimizing data processing applications
• Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools and data transformation tools
• Understanding of DataOps principles and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
