Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to build and maintain core data platform infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and operations of the data lakehouse, including storage and query engine integrations
• Build and maintain infrastructure for reliable data transformation and serving at scale
• Collaborate with product engineering to establish data contracts and schema standards

Required Qualifications

• Expert-level SQL and Python skills
• 5+ years of experience as a data engineer and 8+ years in software engineering
• Strong knowledge of data lakehouse architecture and storage layer design
• Experience with modern orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster
• Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure tooling, including Terraform and Kubernetes
