Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to lead technical efforts in data engineering and architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure on a GCP-based platform
• Lead technical design decisions related to data architecture and pipeline orchestration
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and data transformations, ensuring performance and reliability

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of data engineering and management experience
• Strong proficiency in SQL and SQL optimization in BigQuery and PostgreSQL
• Expert-level scripting in Python; experience with Go is a plus
• Deep expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and related technologies
• Experience building event-driven and streaming data pipelines using Kafka or similar technologies
