Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer - Backend.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of data strategies while mentoring junior engineers
• Propose and evaluate technical solutions to improve data processes and practices
• Lead small team projects and present technical documentation to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of education
• Expert-level knowledge in data ingestion systems, cloud database services, and visualization software
• Proficiency in constructing databases, processing big data, and improving data accuracy
• Expertise in SQL Server and experience with data migration and cleaning processes
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Secret security clearance is preferred
