Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Data Engineer to manage and optimize the data infrastructure for a global IoT network.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain databases to support operations with a focus on simplicity and reliability
• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines for reliable data movement and transformation
• Audit and refactor existing data models and pipelines for improved maintainability and performance

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years in a data engineering or analytics engineering role
• Expert-level SQL skills with strong data modeling fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with dbt for data transformation and Python for data processing
• Experience with a BI tool for building and maintaining dashboards
• Experience with Snowflake or a similar columnar data warehouse
